OUR FOCUS AREAS: 

1) Senior Citizens Empowerment

We believe in honoring the wisdom and contributions of our elders by offering dedicated support services such as:

  • Continuous Food Distribution for the destitute elders throughout the year
  • Running NIRVANA-1 (a 50 bedded Shelter Home) in Adityapur (Courtesy: Adityapur Municipal Corporation)
  • Started NIRVANA-2 (A 24 bed Geriatric Care Unit) in Dumaria Block, East Singhbhum in association/collaboration with the Civil Surgeon/CMO, Health Department (Government of Jharkhand)
  • Free Medical Check-ups & Health Camps to ensure timely diagnosis and treatment
  • Free Eyes Check-up Camps for the senior citizens
  • Wellness & Recreational Programs and Picnics, promoting mental and physical well-being
  • Nutritional Support Packages for better health and immunity
  • Counseling Sessions for emotional and psychological support
  • Daily Essentials & Medicine Distribution for those in need
  • Working with various Shelter Homes in Jamshedpur

 

2) Youth Empowerment

Helping Hands Foundation through its Livelihood Programs connects the unemployed or underemployed youth from disadvantaged groups and communities (especially our SC/ST/OBC/EWS female candidates) with the sectors with high potential or demand in terms of revenue generation as well as employability. The youth could be up-skilled and mainstreamed to become a part of our Jharkhand State’s Growth Story. HHF empowers young minds through:

  • Skills Development Assistance/Counselling in Vocational Trades, and Entrepreneurship
  • Career Counselling & Soft Skills Training to boost confidence and employability
  • Job Placement Training/Assistance through corporate tie-ups
  • Market/Employment Awareness through various Skills Development Centers

 

OUR IMPACT

  • 350+ Food Distribution Program (26 meals per month) for the destitute elders through our programs
  • Distribution of required clothing, umbrellas, footwear, monkey caps, socks for the needy elders
  • 700+ Families Supported through Essentials Distribution Drives
  • 20+ Health Camps & Eye Check-up Camps organized in rural and urban communities for our Senior Citizens
  • 150+ Women from SC/ST/OBC Communities placed in dignified jobs in the healthcare sector
  • 3,000+ Youth undergone Placement Orientation and seminars under Livelihood Initiatives
  • 300+ Elders connected through our Golden Ager JUNCTURE programs
